ServiceNow’s bread and butter is surely in the ITSM space with the 500 pound gorilla being Incident Management. However, there is quite a comprehensive PPM module and related function that have been given a lot of attention by ServiceNow. I’ve deployed PPM a few times and I mapped out how one client utilized Demand > Project > Resource Plan > Time Cards.
Certainly every client has done it quite differently based on needs, level of maturity and expected adoption levels. However, seeing it laid out like this has certainly made conversations much easier with stakeholders so I thought I would share the lifecycle workflow.
I certainly plan on writing more about PPM, Resource Management and more but I wanted to share this document for those out there.
